depends on the PC. it requires 1 pciex16 slot, and is capable to be used in a full height slot or low profile slot in slim systems.

correct, it is the 512mb version high or low profile card. I used this in an HP slim Desktop for my kids.

Also, when installing the card. if on Windows xp or Windows 7, it will detect and ask to install ATI ccc software. Cancel the request and get the current AMD ccc set, for maximum performance. I believe it is series DRIVER SET 13.4 @ http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_win8-64.aspx
