This is an early Tom Selleck film, done about the time he was doing Magnum P.I. It's a period piece set in the days just before the beginning of WW II, and it is well written and the acting by Tom was his absolute best. Tom plays a high-end jewel thief who gets recruited by the British government and the America's FBI to steal some jewels from the German consulate in Britian, which the Germans plan to use towards their upcoming War effort. It has a great cast that includes Jane Seymour, Lauren Hutton,( who plays a dangerous over-sexed Nazi) and Bob Hoskins just to mention a few. You cannot miss this little known gem of a movie!! How did it get by us??
