You verify with credit card, facebook, twitter, phone number so that bidders can have more confidence in their bids. I see that you got two already which is really great. It's really helpful to get as many verifications as possible, especially if you're a new user and you're charging for shipping. Some people try to scam others, and bidders usually tend to shy away from newbies who aren't verified because of this. If you really want some more quick positive feedbacks, my best advice would be to list a few auctions with free shipping, if possible. More people will bid on your items since there is less of a risk on their part, and it can be a sure way to raise you feedback. The more badges you earn the better, then in the future, you can charge for shipping and bidders can bid more confidently on your things. This is of course just my opinion and may not be for everyone, as I know shipping can be very expensive and not always possible to do free. It's what worked for me and I hope it helps. Thanks Angie for the advice. I will try to do what I can. If I give free shipping I have to be really careful. I am disabled and have to live on $900 a month for rent, food, and all expenses including RX co pays and all. It is a bit difficult! I was hoping to get enough credits by Christmas to do shopping on Listia for a few friends and my son. Guess we will see. Thanks again. - PrissyV
