Very Old as U can see well when in hand you see tarnish marks scratches on surface very tiny from rubbing with cloth. It's a Gorham silver bowl as you can see by number on bottom Searched for it and boy they are pricey like $50 - 85$ IT's heavy Plated It's a serving bowl that much i do know to put candy in or just use as centerpiece on table with maybe flowers in it or whatever!

The "EP" represents "electroplated" not sterling silver.

ty Arionway for that clarification about the EP stamp but it's so thick it dosent wear off this looks like sterling silver tarnishes like sterling silver i had a ***** of a time getting polished clean by hand ! I think after seraching for this brand i saw prices for used ones about $50
