FREE: Conversations with God

We are one of the largest (if not THE largest) book lister on Listia; our regular bidders (yes, we have five or six that win as many as 5 to 10 auctions each week!) would rather see more books listed by description than to see fewer books with pictures. As you may know, a large percent of the pictures on Listia are "canned", "stock", "borrowed" from other sites (Amazon for one and they have this book pictured if you want to "see" the book!) and are not of the actual item. (My other four sites supply such stock pictures when we list a book; wish Listia did!) Since doing multiple listings, we have not been able to get our total posted auctions back up to over 100, but we are working on it. We spend hours at auctions every week looking for books for my collection and now for Listia. We probably do more book searching (internet sources, local charity stores and rummage sales,), than some professional book searchers. We love books, and we enjoy some of the compliments we get from our Listia bidders for supplying them with books they have not been able to get elsewhere. After months on here, we have had to put three of our other four sites "on vacation" just to be able to handle our Listia winners....and right now the wrapping table is full of wins that should already be in the post office. Thanks for writing, and if (when) we started posting the ton of "trash/treasures" piled up in the double car garage, we will dig out the camera and start posting pictures.
