This is a 1898 "V" Nickel >>>>115 YEARS OLD<<<<< If you're a new collector you'll soon learn that these Liberty nickels suffered severe wear, much more so than most coins their age. This is a Nice coin for "V" nickel... It's a GREAT coin for a beginner or any one who is collecting and doesn't currently have this year. It's difficult to find one with clarity of detail without spending a considerable sum. You can then replace it at a later time when you begin upgrading your coins and/or find a better grade.
