Actually that is correct to be marked 925 in more than one place. Bc this necklace is made up of so many separate parts that come together to make a whole, the fact that (from what it sounds like), every piece is separately marked 925 is correct and shows that all parts are sterling silver not just the "clasp" which is what a lot of ppl are selling here (at no fault of their own) due to ebay selling things like that and scamming ppl. Although there are some ppl who I think may be buying 925 tags and 925 clasp and connecting them to random silver jewelry so watch out for that. This is what you want to see. Also is anything marked 24Kt GP or 24Kt GE? GP=Gold Plate and GE=Gold Electroplate. I am sure you already know that though. A couple pieces of jewelry that I have that are made up of multiple types of metals, specifically gold and silver are marked for both. I do have a couple items that are sterling silver with a gold finish but since the gold isn't marked I just call it Gold Flash Finish which is what I have heard jewelers call it. Not saying that is what yours is.

I love this necklace so much. I can blatantly see that those rubies are real. They should have inclusions as rubies are a very included stone. It isn't everyday you see a necklace of this caliber here. Nice to see. I wouldn't have anywhere to wear this. I would like to go to a ball or something. This I may just try for just to collect.

It looks like there is a loop repairing the chain in one of your photos? I think it is (if you were wearing it) the left side a little more than 1/2 way up the chain? It is in the picture showing the entire necklace. Do you see what I am talking about? Thanks

I have a necklace in similar style to this. Mine is marked .925 on the clasp and also on one the back body of the piece. I took it to my jeweler to have it checked out and it was indeed sterling. sometimes it's hard to tell it's .925 because there is a coating that goes over the sterling.

The item is marked '925' because to create this work of art it was most likely fashioned in more than one place AND they simply wanted "Quality Control!" Something that has been lost on us normals,still the wealthy have it...someone has to...good luck everyone!
