The listing, Legends Of The Long House Jesse J. Cornplanter of The Senecas has ended.

Ist Edition Hard Cover. Cream Colored Cloth. Front of book is soiled & spotted with what looks like a glass ring. water spots. 217 pages with authors illustration drawings.

J.B. Lippincott 1938 Introduction is by Carl Carmer.

Book is still in good condition. No soiling in the text of the book.

I've added plenty of photos for you to see this book inside and out.

Legends of the Longhouse

Jesse Cornplanter (Seneca)

A wonderful collection of traditional stories told in the early twentieth century by a prominent Iroquois tradition bearer. A retelling of ancient Seneca legends, with illustrations by the author. Cornplanter, like his father, was a Faithkeeper of the Longhouse religion of the Iroquois and thus a repository of the tribal tales.

Hi, Most of my books, etc are vintage, or else really old from the 17th Century on.. Some magazines that are from the 20's left but the newspapers turned brown and brittle before I got them. I will be listing more paper items in the future but can't say when I will get around to it.

Yes, the magazines are really in good shape for their age. Protected in acid free holders. When I received them for my collection I slipped them in protectors and out of sunlight's harmful rays.
