Description

The listing, Vintage Diamond Point Candy Dish !!! has ended.

Up for bid is a beautiful clear glass ruffled candy dish. It has a diamond point design, and is really kind of unique. I suspect this is Indiana Glass but there are no markings and I'm not sure. I do know that this is one gorgeous dish. Measurements for this piece are approx. 6 1/2 inches across the top, 8 inches from point to point, 1 1/2 inches tall on lowest ruffle and 2 inches tall on highest ruffle.

This dish is in very good condition. I can't see any chips or cracks, but there are a couple of rough spots on the edge when you run your fingers over the piece. although it's not really visible I suspect this roughness may be due to slight chips on the edge of the points.

Please take a look at the photos and feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

Thank you for looking!!!

Thanks for your comments, I had a feeling these might be from the 50's or 60's. Isn't nice to see things that bring back memories of our grandparents !!!

That's English Hobnail made by Westmoreland Glass Co. The line was first produced in the 1920s and ran for many years!
