The trunk is not old, just made to look old but it is really nice,

Is there a stone missing on the Silver Tone earrings? Any stains on either the gloves or scarf? any flaws on the Russian box, or the Japan figurine? Is Floss tin empty? any rust? Are sunglasses marked as to maker & are the RX glass? Sorry for all the questions but I just gotta ask~~~

There are no stains or tears on the scarf,gloves or hankie. There are two stones missing in the silver toned earrings. I had not noticed that until I double checked everything to answer your questions. The floss can is a little scuffed but no rust and there is floss in it. The glasses don't have any identifying marks on them but I do think they are perscription. The Russian box looks perfect . It does have a very light scuff on the bottom. Thanks for your interest!

I wish I could make my own canes, I just slice them up. its like therapy for me since I have to little girls at home. They are 2 &3 and constantly fighting lol

I've tried making them and it really is fun to create your own and less time consuming then you'd think. I do know how busy those little girls can keep you! I had my 3 grand daughters here this weekend and I was exhausted!

I'm not a antique expert so I wouldn't recognize items that were Civil War era. I mostly have and collect vintage items from the 1920's through the 50's I will be listing more of these in the near future.
My next ladies box will have Opera gloves, seamed nylons,vintage hand crocheted purse, glass perfume atomizer, etc. etc. etc.
Did you know that you can buy points from Lista? If you don't use them you can sell them back. I've done this when I really want to make sure I win a listing.

I actually found a little vintage train case a few years ago and thought wouldn't it be fun to fill it up with old things for an antique dresser I have in my guest room but once I started looking for that type of thing I couldn't stop when mine was full. I can't help but buy those things now so thought it would be fun to share them! ( Then I can keep buying too!)
