I bought this about 8 years ago from Brookstone and paid quite a bit for it. It is a CD holder that has a speaker in the front. When it is plugged into a portable CD player it plays the music through the speaker. I no longer have a portable CD player so I cannot test this to make sure it works. I am saying it does not work (since I cannot test it to validate it's condition) just so that if you get it and it works it's a bonus!!!!Shipping is $5.00, unfortunately right now I am unable to offer free shipping. Paypal preferred.
