The listing, White Oleander has ended.
This listing is for the 4" pot with plants in the first and second picture. You're actually getting a triple-whammy with this listing. Two other little seedlings have hitched a ride with this Oleander cutting. So in this one pot you will receive 1 oleander (white), 1 portulaca (white) & 1 Talinum (pink). You just never know what's gonna spring up at the greenhouses!!
- Hardy Outdoors in zones 8-11
I don't know much about Oleander (or Nerium as they are properly called -- I think). They are out of my zone hardiness and not very common where I'm at. We have several larger ones, as shown in the last picture, that we grow year round. They are in the greenhouses in summer and my mom takes them in the house during winter. They bloom nearly year round. They are tough as nails!!! Anything that lives through a winter in my mom's house has to be, lol. They seem to like it hot and sunny in summer. In winter (indoors) they tolerate medium light and VERY LITTLE water.
As soon as they stop flowering, we cut them back very hard. This helps them stay compact. Otherwise they have long arching branches. Overall they are one of the easiest houseplants I have encountered....right up there with Jade, Aloe & Spider-plants.
