The listing, Pelargonium Calliope Burgundy has ended.
Lusty, blood red blooms shroud the bright green, upright foliage. Widely known as a Geranium, it is more properly Pelargonium....a relative of the scented "geranium" which is also properly Pelargonium. Though many people use these as a container annual, they make wonderful house plants and will grow into large bushes! Just imagine a jade plant with velvety red flowers......
You can let Pelargoniums go dormant in the winter (in the house). Just water lightly, let all the leaves fall off and keep it by a low light window. With brighter light they stay fuller.
Can be grown outdoors, year round in warmer zones.
This listing is for the actual plant you see pictured. It comes in a Proven Winners 4.25" grande pot, with color tag. Please be aware that the flowers on these are constantly blooming and fading...as they fade I clean the plants so that new flowers will come on faster. This means that this plant will not look EXACTLY like this photo in a weeks time.
