You can't use a 360 controler for the original Xbox. THIS one is for the Xbox 360. It is a TurboFire 2. It has Turbo-fire,Vibration-feedback, and Blue LEDs, you can plug it in to a computer via usb and customize 8 programmable buttons. For power it uses 2 AA batteries.

And it costs $24.73 at Amazon, $24.12 at Walmart, and $39.99 at Gamestop. It has a 6.9 customer rating and here is some usefull information to make it work properly. You need to download a free patch from the codejunkies website to access Xbox Live. It also downloads a program which lets you set up the mods (I use rapid fire on one mod, sniper mode on the other) which you need to connect to a PC to update and set up the mod.
This controller DOES work with Turtle Beach headsets. Just hold down the back button, the guide button, and the start button for about 5 seconds to let it recognize other headsets, and it works fine.
