Sony Discman Walkman--leather case and headphones included, and operating manual. Silver in color. Shock protection so cd's don't skip. Excellent condition. Can use batteries or 4.5v charger.

What kind of batteries does it take?

I believe it takes AA, and I think I still have the charger, and I will check tomorrow and get back to you tomorrow afternoon. I also believe this might take rechargeable batteries, too.

The Discman uses two AA batteries, either regular type or rechargeable batteries, and can use a 4.5v charger. I don't have the charger anymore; it must have gotten lost in the move here two months ago.

There is one pair of ear muff type headphones, but I do have extra of ear bud type if you would prefer.

That's what I used it for!!!!! I would put music on cd's that were "upbeat" to keep me motivated to keep on walking!!!! I put it in a fanny pack or a large pocket and never had any trouble with it.

I would prefer the ear bud type of headphone. Works better at the gym.

It has a line out and a digital readout. I hope this helps. It also has the places for headphones and the DC plug.
