Does this even work? Does it have an IC inside it that does ps2 to USB translation or is it simple wiring? Because the latter fake ones are widespread online

This is to plug a usb mouse or keyboard into a ps2 port. Of course it works, I don't list non working or broken items.

I know it's small, but th US customs imposes a fee on international shipments containing items considered electronic components. The fee varies on size of item as well as destination.
