I slice bottles into bottles, put them into a frame, and then hang them in the wall. i have cut wine bottles into planters, i have cut all the tops off the champagne bottles after new years and then made jewelry, in a beautiful green and browns.

Oh Debbie28120, I hope you win too!!! What do you plan to make? Do you have a creative mind? Which of the pictures are you going to make?? You can make gifts, beautiful items, and the best part is, you can get so many ideas from the internet, and it doesnt cost much to start creating. I always get bottles from friends, and families after they have dinner parties, or gatherings!! I love cutting Snapple Jars, and Wine bottles, the most!! the bigger the bottle the more things you can do!! The wall murals are so elegant, and if you go to the craft store and buy those round metallic mirrors that are really stickers you can stick them inbetween the cut bottles, and it looks like there is a mirror in there, and the items look so expensive!! who would have thought that these were home made!! please share with us what your plans are!! I would love to hear

Need one bad! Need more credits. I tried the "how to cut glass" tutorial on Pinterest, using fingernail polish remover string and setting it on fire... Not the same. Didn't work. This is very useful. :)

Trying to make drinking glasses out of coke bottles. Vases out of pretty colored glass bottles. And lamps out of wine bottles. I'm all stocked on glass I just didn't know how to cut it

Oh you have the bottles already!!! You are ready to go then!!! You are going to have so much fun with this. bottles is what I had to look for, i used to also go to thrift stores to get the big bottles!! i love the deep browns, and yellows, and i sold a set of 6 for 100.00 and then i went to the dollar store, and bought a string of lights and put them inside, and hung it from my roof in my cazebo! in fact, i am putting them up again this year for the 4th of July.

If you need ideas let me know. you can get so many great things from dollar stores and discounts, and you only spend a few dollars to make money.

I can send you pictures of all the things I have made and instructions. I work for the government so I am always busy it seems, but every now and then during the non summer months here in Arizona, I go to marts, and show my makings... they are immediate successes. I have a good feeling about your ideas if you have colored glass!!!!!!
