it is 5 inches long and 2 inches wide and yes it is a real sock in the package lol it has a fake paper ten dollar bill in it it has elastic around the top of sock i have had it a few years got it at a garage sale i cant say for sure i am not a expert but i would guess it could be from the 60s by the package and looks of it .. i myself wouldnt open and use it .. i have owned 2 antique flea markets ... but if someone wanted to open it and use it they could thanks you for asking have a great weekend
