Questions & Comments
ugh, I hate seeing these listings............... you can get the recipe FREE here........... http://allrecipes.com/recipe/flea-terminator-dog-treats/
Angelina, I respect that you'd go out of your way to list the recipe's original website, however, instead of hiding your comment, I'd like to explain what makes my auction different than other people's.
1. I don't claim to own the recipe. When I send it through email, a link to the original website is ALWAYS included.
2. I add notes to all recipes. I always make any recipe before posting it, so I know whether or not it's worth it.
3. I never charge an unfair amount of credits. I lost ALL recipes at a starting bid of 5 credits and let it climb from there. I NEVER start them any higher.
4. Recipes are a great way for new members to establish credit and seller ratings.
Please take all of this into consideration. I'm not like everyone else.
My veterinarian told me not to feed garlic to dogs because it causes vomiting and red blood cell damage. Plus no raw yeast. I know in the recipe it cooks the yeast but just leaving that info for people who don't know this.
I am leaning this info because I also believed in giving garlic to dogs for flea removal until my vet let me know why I shouldn't feed them garlic.
I, too have taken note of this garlic warning. I made sure to specify in the baking instructions this exact message, and have personally tweaked the recipe to reduce the amount of garlic down to about 1/4th it's original amount. It is noted in the recipe that this change has occurred, just in case you choose to raise it once more. As far as side effects, we've been feeding my dog garlic for years with no bad outcome, but he is a larger breed, so that could explain why. Thanks again for your warning!
