I usually don't decide until I am ready to ship, but, if you are concerned about price, it won't make a difference because between 1 lb and 2 lb is the same price to ship and the jacket alone already is more than 1 lb. On a couple of occasions, when I put the stuff in a box and it went over the 2 lb, I just paid the difference myself since I can only charge you what is stated in the listing which is my zip code to your zip code at 1 lb 4 ounces.
