There is a Pure Gold .9999 Fine (24k) Gold "round". It is 7mm diameter and thin, but not paper thin. The "bar" is a Pure copper .999 fine. I hope that helps out there. Thank you!

The pure gold round could be compared to card stock paper thickness. The round is 1 grain Pure Gold (maybe this gives a better idea - 15.4 grains = 1 gram). Hope this helps even more :-)

Just signed up! A friend told me about Listia. I wish I had enough credits to bid on it! I would get the gold coin for my son who is in the Marines. I will be watching periodically to see what you have listed. Have a wonderful day! Saving coins now! Fixing to list a lot of things as well......

Gold round design is 3 swirls. Original package was marked "1 Troy Grain Solid Gold 24 kt Gold Bar/Round .9999 Pure Gold Bullion." I will include the card that came with it as well. Bidders can search "1 grain gold bar or round" and that will give a good idea of pricing, etc.

480 grains = 1 Troy Ounce. My earlier grains to ounces was avdp ounce ... my mistake. Still 1 gram = 15.4 grains (no such thing as a "troy grain" or "troy gram" een though many list them that way. A gain is a grain and an gram is a gram no matter which weight scale - troy or avdp. Troy is a metal weight and avdp is the same weight we use a the store when buying produce. Troy Oz = 31.1 and avdp Oz = 28.35 grams ... so you can see why there is no such thing as troy grain or gram.) I hope this helps everyone possibly understand the difference. :-)
