? when you jailbreak a iphone or ipod what exactly does that do for it? on iphone do you get unliited everything then,usage,data,etc? and what does it do for an ipod? I am not tech savy and have heard of people doing this but don't know reasoning behind it... does it ake it so you can keep your carrier or so you can change carriers and add it to an existing plan? jailbreaking allows you to download apps and other stuff (ringtones, themes, etc.) that aren't usually allowed to be downloaded be downloaded. it has nothing to do with having unlimited data or anything like that sorry
