this is a 1928 silver certificate funnyback bank note, it is still legal tender but I would not want to spend it. These bills you could take to the bank and exchange it for one dollar in silver. This is a REAL note to answer some of people's questions. shinecekelly thanks for a nice auction. If I had enough credits I would bid on this in a hearbeat. It looks to be in really nice condition besides the creases which will devalue it a bit, but still a very nice note and worth between 15 - 85 depending on condition and a few other factors. I hope this helps in getting more bids for you.

Nice addition to one's collections!! Hopefully people will stop being negative at you, because this is a REALLY good/strong start, as far as auctions go! There's a lot of people that collect antique currency, like me, and my collection! Thanks for putting it up for auction, and I'm gonna keep my eye on it, and see if I can afford it too! F&W =)

Girl, don't sweat the little things. Do the best you can and be honest. Many people on here are policing these auctions like freakin' Nazi's. I am NOT pointing any fingers so don't nobody e-me about nothing, I have people telling me "It's in the wrong category, it has to be over 100 years old to be an antique" I just tell them not to bid and you won't have to worry about, one was a digital watch,..lol,...and I said" it's a freakin' digital watch for cryin' out loud of course it is NOT an antique" lol. Show your son that regardless of some people's actions you can STILL have fun here and score some cool goodies. Use that block button up top,...I do. If you are slightly difficult in the questionnaire you will surely be hard to deal with later. I have had people do a refund request after 3 days of auctions end and they waited a day to send their address. That would make it impossible to get it to them. I had mailed it the day they gave me the address but, I guess they were tryin' to milk the system or something.Anyway, not everyone here is like that and to prove it,...lol,...I'll bid on this puppy right now. Don't let a few sour apples ruin your pie,...just throw them out. Peace, love, and 1 God.

Hi-sorry, for your frenzied situation-whenever, you list an auction, make sure you have all your facts in hand.-the bill you listed is a common silver certificate.in this condition , it would be worth between between $10-$30-not up to $85--the basic bill in uncirculated condition sells for an average of $45--excluding the star note, & the starting serial letters: a, b, c, d, e.which could sell upward of $200---this note has the common letter "r"-

Hello,
also if you click on rules or support at the bottom of the page they do give you great tips on how to list an auction to get a lot of bids, etc. If you listed this on ebay wouldn't you put up more info instead of just 1912 $1 bill? like condition of it? if it's ripped or creased, where it came from if you know, etc. I know pics are worth 1000 words but also people like to read info about the item. This really is a great site but just like on ebay users want you to be verified and give all the information you can on an item because there are a lot of scammers on here as well. It's people being cautious and I admit they don't always do it in the best of way, but the best way to get a good feel for the site is to go over the rules and such to get an idea of how it works before putting up a test run, that is the first thing a lot of new users do and they do get drilled because it seems like a fake auction just to get credits. Anyhow nice auction and I wish you luck in whatever you decide :)

I'm so sorry that you have had such a hard time on your first 'test drive'. This really is a fun place. I've been here for well over a year and have had very little trouble with people. This is a nice auction and, just so you know, when you offer
free shipping, you can still charge to ship to Canada. You did right in the way you posted your ship terms. Canada is 'International' and also is 'everywhere else'. Also, in 'one day', you won't need to delete this auction because it will be over and all you'll have to do is send the dollar bill to the winner. Done. Again, I'm sorry that people have jumped on you. It really isn't necessary and it makes me feel badly for you. Good luck whatever you do.

Thank you so much. For that helpful message. I'm still deleting this in 1 day. This is so not what I expected when I put this up. It has been one crazy 7 days. I want to delete it now. I've search and search and search for information on these dollars and the information I've gotten has not been helpful. So I put it on here to test drive this site. THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I COULD'VE EVER MADE. Thank you Scooter!

To Mrs. Cathy, I do have it wrong. It is a 1928 1 dollar bill. Sorry for that. I was going tell the person that bid on it everything they needed to know. Any questions or concerns they had I was going to answer them to my best ability. I have 7 of them. But not all of them look like this. Only 1. I never saw anything like this. I thought it was nice and unique.

I put this up in the middle of the night. I really didn't know how this works. This app was recommended to me. So I put the old dollar I have. Just playing around. I was rushing. If I click free shipping then why do I have a option to charge for international then? I feel as, if I click free then the option for international shipping and handling should fade away. I was giving this a test drive. The test drive failed. I'm just going to stick with Ebay. They are so much more easier to deal with. No confusion and I promise they won't make me feel the way yOu all make people feel. I wasn't trying to rip anyone off. The ad for this app made me feel comfortable enough to place my ad. I'm such an honest person. Matter of fact I was trying to show my 13 year old son that apps like this does work. He can get cool things for the things he has. You guys took one mistake and ran out of control with it. For .40 cent I can put this in the mail and send it any where. July 10th when this is over with I'm deleting this. How do I rate this? -1. People are not nice on here and because I didn't know that if I click free then it's free every where. How am I suppose to know that if it does not say it? Sad part is that if anybody ever bid on it then I was going to clarify the shipping and handling was free. But instead I got a bunch of complaining people that never ever bid on it. Lmao! This app is the worst!

Hi, can you please clarify your shipping charges? In your listing it states "Free (in the US)" and "$5 (Everywhere Else)", which would indicate that you are charging for international shipping, however your recent comment states that you are not charging for international shipping. Just want to make sure everyone is on the same page so can you please clarify? Just a reminder that if you state "Free Shipping" in your listing then it must be unconditional. Thanks!

I'm not charging for international shipping. the ones that's making a big deal about a $5 shipping and handling fee is probably sitting in a town next to me. i have 7 of them. so yes i will ship them to whoever else want one! thank you!
