Description

The listing, Hall of famer, TED WILLIAMS autograph has ended.

I've got a bunch of these type auctions, so check 'em out!
Back in the early to mid '70s, as a kid, I had a book that had addresses to major league ball players, so were just the team clubhouse addresses. I sent self addressed, stamped envelopes with index cards and baseball cards for autographs. I got a lot back. I took them as authentic, but who's to say? All or these in my auctions are index cards where I have another autograph, usually a baseball card of the same person.
No COA, but, like I said, as a kid (then), collector, and sports enthusiast, they are real to me. I don't sell them, but I will share these through Listia.

I will not hold vintagegal57 to her bid. If there are any bids beyond the current one, then it goes. My description is honest and I believe most of them to be legit, but I won't argue with anyone who doesn't believe one to be by the person. This WAS returned to me from the address I sent it to back in the early 70's in my self-addressed-stamped envelope. I did not witness it being signed.

Williams usually used others to sign for him. Sometimes he used the Red Sox batboy to sign. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the odds of this one being real is slim.

You block my post because I mention the truth? Ted Williams is well known to have secretarials sent through the mail. He was also famously known to have a Red Sox batboy signed for him.

sorry it upset you. I saw no purpose in it. I told in my description how I got it and what it was to me. I do not know for certain anyone of mine listed here was signed by the person it is supposed to be. I got them honestly. You can compare this signature to verified ones and they look the same, though I'm sure he had folks that were very good at signing his name. Take care
