Is it shell? You might want to try photographing jewelry on a white surface with NO flash. Use a little desk lamp that you can move around to play with the light and shadow to show details, texture, stuff like that. Good luck!

I usually scan them but my scanner is broken : ( and my camera is not top notch and needs a lil tlc : ( ....I am sorry It's not a very good picture I will do better ones when my scanner is fixed .It is pretty in real life tho ..lol no pink chain at all = )!! thanks for ur advice : )
