bold full date and almost full horn.
COIN HAS A DARK COLOR & HAS A SHALLOW HOLE AT FOREHEAD, DOES NOT GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH. THE COIN.

It is a hole, but not all the way through. Looks like someone started to drill a hole and quit. It looks much worse in the blown up photo than in hand, I really hadn't noticed it until I saw the photos and had to get it out and look to see what it was.

What makes this an especially nice find is the fact that so many of these older Buffalo nickels (pre-1920) have the dates rubbed out and very little detail. This one has some wear but detail is nice.
