The listing, BEAUTIFUL QUILT Hand quilted, Machine Pieced has ended.

96 inch x 96 inch (8 foot by 8 foot) pristine machine pieced and hand quilted quilt. 100% cotton top, batting and backing. Curved machine pieced aprox 6 inch blocks. Pristine used condition. No stains, No pets, No smoking. Lovely pastel floral fabrics and white muslin in blocks. Cotton batting, Back and binding is also white muslin. Blocks were machine pieced but hand quilted. Hand quilting is about 6-8 stitches to the inch. Free shipping in the continental USA Lovely quilt. I just have too many!

tcoble, yes it sort of looks like a bigger and flatter style of that classic block. However, the fabrics are not "rolled" like a true cathedral window like your grandmother may have made. The curved seams do give it a similar overall look. . And each block is between 5-6 inches wide on this one as one of the photos shows.

My grandmother made pillows ands quilts of this pattern. If I am not mistaken it is called a Cathedral pattern, for it's intricate detail and how it can resemble a cathedral window. F & W!!! :D
