I was getting the seeds out of the peppers years ago and no nose started running and i wiped my nose and got someof the juice on it and it burned like cragy and also on my mouth. I was drinking pickle juice trying to kill the pain. So they are hot. just wear gloves when you work with them.But the make a beautiful pot plant. they are yellow then orange then red.
