This is a commemorative Connecticut Coin that has the State Crest Emblem and on the front it says " Town of Stamford Connecticut, With The Byrd Antarctic Expedition ToThe South Pole " and on the reverse it says " Presented By Fellow Citizens Of His Home Town To Harold I. June In Commemoration Of His Antarctic Flight Over The South Pole Nov.29th,1929". WOW! WHAT AN AMAZING ONE OF A KIND COIN!!! this coin is Awesome, this coin was Custom Made For Harold I. June for Flying to and over the Antarctic South Pole in 1929!!! Witch to me seems pretty Flipping Amazing especially since he's from Connecticut!
