I remember my mother taking my sister and I to see Mary Poppins at the movies when it first came out~ I'm dating myself, right? lol :)

There were many memorable events that happened in the movie, but the most magical one was when Mary Poppins, Bert, and the children jumped into a painting of a landscaped countryside that Bert had created on the street.
While in the painting, they, among other things, stopped at an outside cafe where they were served by penguin waiters. I think Mary was looking at a menu when she began to muse,
“Now then, what’d be nice
We’ll start with raspberry ice
And then some cakes and tea.”...

And so, what could be nicer than making our own homemade Raspberry Ice Cream? ~especially with the kids or grandkids tee hee :)
