For those of you who may not be old enough to remember this show a very quick rundown
star Rock Hudson as the newly appointed police commissioner of San Francisco California who is also recently married to Susan Saint James who ends up solving most of the cases while getting herself in deep doo-doo against the wishes of her husband they have a housekeeper Mildred (Nancy Walker) who is usually in search of a well hidden bottle of alcohol,and then there is Sargent Charles Enright the commissioners assistant played by John Schuck who occasionally appears on Law & Order as the assistant police chief
