when I purchased it they said it eas amethyst but it does look darker than that to me also.It is beautiful but too big for me I wanted it for my right hand.Good luck on winning!

To be honest with you I do not remember the exact amount. I got it on Overstock.com and it was on sale I can't remember if the original price was $69.99 or $74.99 I had purchased more than one item when I got it. You might be able to look up on Overstock and find one similar,
