But I thought this only work with stamps.com?

it does work with stamps.com
i used it 2 weigh my items and to find out the cost for shipping and then went to usps and entered all the information there and printed my labels off there.with stamps.com some of the shipping was a little cheaper plus i did a survey and received a ten dollar credit so that helped when one of my items was $35 to ship because the size and weight was alot...i dont recommond shipping a kids bike.
This does help if you dont want to use stamps.com but want to weigh your items and get the cost for shipping and than go to post office or go online...Fedex rates are extremely high and would not suggest their website.

Okay thank you for clarifying that I thought these scales would only work with the stamps.com program. Kinda like a cell phone that will only work with that service provider. I didn't know it was just a regular scales. I currently have my own scales now but I was looking for an upgrade.
What is the max weight?
Does it have AC power or battery only?
Jul 10th, 2013 at 7:11:55 AM PDT by
Original
it does not say the maximum weight,i looked thru the book.the usb charges it when its connected to computer. If you decide to bid and decide you no longer want it or you prefer different scales it can always be relisted.
This does work with their program and will connect you to it when you plug it in but you can always get the weight and costs and than go to usps to ship instead.fedex will have different costs when you enter the weight since they cost more.

Sorry to keep bothering you but 1 more question if it is USB powered and plugs in the computer - would it function in another location with a USB adapter wall plug?
Jul 10th, 2013 at 9:37:21 PM PDT by

i dont see why not

LOL - It says right on it - 5 lb. Digital Scale!!!!
You were apparently reading ounces on the items you weighted.
If you put them both on the scales at the same time it would register pounds and ounces.
