Thank you Glen. I have noticed a few other stories, actually A LOT of other ones on here and some seem fishy?? But that could be because I am studying to become a doctor and with all the medical stuff I have had to go through, I know a good bit about the "medical" field. I am sorry that it touches home for you. If you ever care to share your situation, feel free to message me! Some times hearing others perspectives allows me to understand what certain people in my life are going through... I am a very strong women, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend, but I got strong from acceptance. I want my children to cherish the time I have with them and understand that death is a part of life. I want them to see some of the suffering to understand compassion and empathy! I look at my sickness as a strong point for my children's futures. It seems to have a positive effect on them... every year they work there butts off to raise money for which ever cause they want to contribute to. They never ask for a dime and would help a person in need, by finding places that are best suited to help them! In return, the cancer foundation sets up mommy and me mini vacations so we still get the "quality" time together... My kids always choose Monster Jam and ask to sit in the "cheap seats" because those families do not treat us different, as my kids would say! I'm watching and bidding on both. I have Lupus. Was diagnosed in 2007. It ended my 25 year marriage. I now use goodies like these to make diaper cakes and gift baskets for any occasion. Doing a baby boy cowboy theme so I'm on the baby boy auction. I will keep you in my prayers and happy to answer any Lupus questions. I know it well.

my prayers go out to you sweetie I know the feeling I have 5 children at 33 and was battling cervical cancer but I am happy to say that I am 2 months in remission its not easy but keep a positive attitude great support system and alot of prayer and you will do great I will pray for you honey keep up the great work

Unfortunately, this is my second battle against breast cancer. Last time I had stage 2, got a lumpectomy done and light chemo & radiation (my insurance would not pay for more treatment or a double mastectomy & full hysterectomy!) At my first 3 month check-in they found another mass. The biopsy showed that it was back and this time I have stage 4. I went in to get blood work done for the surgery and it showed that I have lupus. Unfortunately, I am unable to have treatment because of the lupus. So, I started the treatment for lupus (steroid injections) and well now, the mass has tripled in size and there is pretty much nothing I can do at this point. I have finally been excepted to see an oncologist that specializes in my type of case, but of course they are not located close to me... I think it is pretty much in God's hands now... I am sure he has a wonderful plan for me! :-D
