The listing, Vintage Beauty Stamped .925 Old School Sterling has ended.

Hello lovies!!

SIZE 6 LADIES, Maybe a hair more....

Oh yes gonna go back to Old School on this one!!

This ring is actually stamped the way Silver USED to be done.... it is stamped .925, there is a Makers Mark that I just can't Identify though not without trying!!

It has 10 very gorgeous Cz's, and yes I had to get Diamond Tester out just to make sure. But they are Cz's. There are 10 Cz's in total & boy do they SPARKLE!!!

The band on this ring is wide and thick & the Cz's sit perched on top in a small pyramid cluster with some of the band left to see.

pretty ring would you mind posting a few more pictures for us to see the gallery from the top and underneath the stones? are they any other stamps/marks inside the band? looks like a mark before the .925 on it too when I enlarged the photo. Hi lovie, I surely will try for you!! I lovie to take all kinds of pictures of my items from all different angles, but lately seem to be limited to 3 pictures and I do not know why. But I will try again lovie :) There appears to be 2 marks in front of the .925, but I can not make them out. Even enlarging to the point of all but distorting. :)

nvm guess not. It even says in the US ppl don't have to put any 925 or sterling on their jewelry. I know if I made jewelry that was sterling I would. But I did read that in the old old days that makers marks were used to tell what country a piece came from, the year and what silver content. Nowadays we have far too many artist and jewelry makers and no one would be able to know them all.

People do not care about being recognized by their work, only that they can pay their bills and keep their companies afloat. It is sad, but true.. hugsss

I thought all 925 was suppose to have a makers mark. Did that law change? Probably. Gonna Google it. I love the internet. lol. Great auction.

Hi lovie, No unfortunately Hall Marks are becoming a piece of the past unless as far as I can see. Makers Marks are the initials or symbols of the manufacturing firm or jewelry artist. They are usually found in the back of jewelry items and they allow collectors to identify its maker. Hallmarks are symbol s are usually stamped into gold, silver or platinum items, and they serve the purpose of identifying the type and quality of metal used. Many times the hallmark can give some clues to the country of origin and dates when a jewelry piece was created. Now lately all you see is 925, being the POINT in front is usually not there.
