The listing, 15TH PRESIDENT U.S.A. JAMES BUCHANAN 1857-1861 has ended.
On the back it reads, "OLD BUCK, PRIVATE IN WAR OF 1812, CONGRESSMAN, UNITED STATES SENATOR, SECRETARY OF STATE, MINISTER TO ENGLAND, TRIED TO AVERT CIVIL WAR BUT BELIEVED IN STATE RIGHTS, OLD PUBLIC FUNCTIONARY". This is a vintage antique token. I believe that it is made of brass due to the fact that a magnet will not stick to it. Very cool collectible that could have been given out as some sort of premium or promo. I purchased it at a yard sale and it already had a hole in it to wear as a necklace.
