Yes it does have wifi and you don't have to have it hooked up to get wifi, i will find out monday if you can get it turned into a monthly bill

Priscillagreene79, let me also help you out, this phone that you have cannot be put onto a billed plan because it was purchased through the Walmart plan. If they are purchased through the US Cellular company, then you can. I actually have this exact same phone (but mine is bought from US Cellular) and it is a VERY AWESOME phone! I love it! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone and everyone! The US Cellular service is also awesome too! There are very few areas that they do not service. I have travelled many places and they are nationwide so there are no fees for roaming! This is a very very great deal guys and gals! Hope this helps! God Bless!
