FREE: 3 Three Cent Stamps! ~OLD!~

I play around with stamp collecting and this one you have caught my eye. I found some info on it - it is old but not as old as one might think.

it is the 3 cent value (Scott Cat# 1584) from my one of my favorite series of stamps called "The Americana Series". This popular series was issued between 1975 and 1981 and included value from 1c up to $5. They all had a uniform design with the curved lettering and the subject in the middle. All the stamps in this series are still valid for postage (as are all United States stamps that were originally issue for use as regular postage). The bad news is that it is considered a common stamp and worth very little over the 3c face value.
