are these for cross stitch too? they look like they have a sharp point and cross stitch needles would have a blunt tip

hello! I am an avid cross stitcher - I have received kits with both blunt and sharp needles, I don't need to tell you that I prefer the blunt :) these are sharp and this will be posted to my listing in case someone else cares like you and I do - I should have put that when I listed this. even when I do sewing, I use a blunt needle - but everyone has their preference - I just thought, maybe the people who use the sharp ones use a thimble? thanks for your input and happy listia-ing !
