I want to make some for my kids, different colors, mainly my 11 yr old, he loves dragons. How many sheets of plastic canvas does it call for?

bearing in mind that I know nothing about plastic canvas, this is what it says 7 mesh plastic canvas: 6 regular and one stiff - hope this helps!

Perfect. 7-count sheet is a little bigger then a standard sheet of paper & is usually bendable. The stiff count is the same, except it's not meant to bend, it's meant for durability.
