the cloaked figure chuckled and replied

"i can take away your pain for you, if you would like, but i must warn you, it comes with sacrifice, and how the consequences turn out, depend solely on you"

damien sat up on his bed, and hung his legs over the side and replied to the figure with a cracked voice

"i don't care what sacrifices or consequences it takes, i'll take your offer"

the cloaked figure nodded his head and said

"very well, what shall you offer me?"

damien said to the figure

"i offer you my soul, without her, i have no use of it, no soulmate, my soul is lost, it can't be saved"

the claoked figure then nodded and replied in a sad voice

"very well, proceed to step into my cloak, you will find yourself in a dark passageway, follow it to the light, and you will see my brother, he will give you
your second option"
