This is a waste of time and money you need the LCD attached or it's garbage you can't separate the LCD from digitizer

This is not a digitizer. This is the front glass cover that is on top of the LCD and digitizer assembly. The LCD and the digitizer (glass touch screen) are fused together and cannot be separated. Replacing the front glass without damaging the LCD/digitizer assembly is doable only on the white iPhone 4. The iPhone 4s uses a much stronger bonding agent to hold the front glass screen and LCD/digitizer together and so makes it really hard to separate the front glass.
