This pretty fabric features birds and flowers.

It's been washed and ironed.

I find the texture to be interesting. It's exceptionally sturdy.

I thought it might be feed sack fabric, but I don't know enough about it to tell.

I've put the front and back in the second photo so you can see the difference.

It looks like it's from the forties or fifties.

There are 2 1/2 yards.

It isn't feedsack fabric. It looks like the fabric tablecloth my grammy had. The fabric is a heavyweight cotton fabric used in many tablecloths in the 50s. You can almost feel the fibers twisted to make the thread. Many of the vintage fabrics were made that way. The feedsack fabrics were only 30 " by 25", estimate and you can see where they were sewn into a sack. There are large holes from the machine that did the sewing. The fabric for the feedsacks are much smoother and finer fibers were used. This is an awesome find though and should go very high.
