Hello lovies

I have here a very unusual Pin. I do believe it to be from the 20's or early 30's. I have had it just quickly looked at from my jeweler, he pretty much put me in that era as well, but the visit was so short due to other customers, he could not identify the metal.

I found this beautiful pin in a jar of screws & nails in the house that I purchased. I just kinda put it away.

And have now decided to bring it here for someone to truly appreciate as I will not wear it.

It measures alittle over 2 inches long & alittle over an inch wide. There is a design on the front, but I have no idea what it is suppose to represent or if it is what it is, Kind of an abstract design. I can tell you there are no stones in this pin that I can see. I want to say the oval circle in the center of the pin is sterling. That of course is my opinion. As for the rest of the pin, I have no idea lovies.

There is what appears to be writing or something on the back, but unfortunately, due to severe betina, I cannot make it out. Nor am I even attempting to clean this up. It is in the state I found it in over 13 yrs ago. Nor do I have any idea how long it was in that jar as my home was not owner occupied when I purchased it.

I will try to answer any questions I can, but really do not know anything more about it.

I do hope a Vintage Collector of Pins can either help me out, or win and actually due with it as it deserves.
