Apple said that the IPod software is broken and IDK if you want it for show, or can fix it then it's yours.

Software problems are usually very easy to fix. Alot of the time the solution is just resetting the ipod completely. Sometimes you have to reinstall the software completely from various sources. Either way easy I'm bidding!
