Can you try and clean it up? If in fact its real gold it wont hurt it.

I don't have any cleaner to try to but I cleaned it up a little bit with my shirt

It looks like it might be gold plated but I'm not real sure I'm not to good with jewelry. It's fine. I'm just at work so it might take a few mins for me to answer
