Hi again, i was wondering about this necklace, i LOVE IT! Im originally fromLaPlace, LA & my fathers & his side of the family hav lived in the suburbs of new orleans since the 1910's & bk n better than ever since Katrina! Praise THE LORD! :) anyway this peice speaks to me ESPECIALLY more so than anything has ever ( reminds me of my dad, his name was Charles Collins, i kept my name wen i married bc thats all of him i hav left. I dont hav a place to go & give him my respect n visit him. (His wishes were to b cremated (He was only 55 years old & when he was found he'd had a heart attack. He named me his next of kin so i had to sign for his cremains to be released 2 his sis' (me, my lil sis, & my dad) he wanted a journey song played at the ceremony when he was here, he had made me promise 2) So i sign the fax & $ 25$ for it 2 B notarized, 2 never hear from any of them EVER again! His sisters took him away from us, they tricked us. my sis n me were 2 each hav the lil necklaces made w jus a small urn necklace?(hard 2 explain) but, i thought of that idea bc i was trying 2 b nice & fair, & do wat i thought my daddy wouldve been happiest. He LOVED the New Orleans Saints, n we hav dat french cajun blood n us yeah boy!! Iet them keep his house, land, suv & all i wntd was the LSU necklace he alway wore, & his pinky ring. THAT IS ALL I ASKED 4! They took it all, they gave the 2 peices i asked 4(the 2 peices of jewelry he always wore n passed away in- gav it 2 his LEAST FAV neice!! Addicted to drugs, he'd had 2 bail her out of jail, but, he only did it 1x, thats who has that) this REALLY reminded me of him. I kno u knew sum about it. Kim

How horrible, I don't understand why family does that. I went through a similar situation with my grandpa. My dad had to fight his brother so my brother and I wouldn't be forgotten. I thank god for my daddy, he knew grandpa and grandma meant the world to me. Still do
