The listing, Button Covers - 3 different kinds - 2 sets homemade - 1 single may be brass has ended.

Button covers! Don't let your buttons just be buttons... cover them up with something pretty! The turquoise ones were handmade by myself of fimo clay and baked (set of 5). The brightly colored ones are also made of the same kind of clay, but I put a shiny finish on them (set of 3). The heart is made of brass or something. It is old, but not sure how old - and could use some polishing - unless you like the aged look. ALL 9 BUTTON COVERS are included in this happy little lot. Enjoy! Do you know if the clay ones will hold up outdoors...have a different use in mind.

Interesting thought. No, I wouldn't trust them in the elements. Although they were baked, they are still clay and they weren't fired or anything like a clay pot. I wouldn't want to lead you that way and have you disappointed after a few rains.

Please note - I am new to Listia - have 100% rating so far, so trying to make a great impression. I pack items within minutes of the auction being complete - and mail them off the next morning!
