The listing, 0-6 mon. Handmade Peapod Blanket w/ Matching Hat has ended.

Super cute handmade knitted Pea Pod Sac Blanket and matching hat. Great unique baby shower gift. Makes super cute props for baby's photo shoots. Best of all great to keep baby warm at night without the worry of baby suffocating by pulling over her head. Baby loves the snugly comfort of the sac it's like getting a warm hug from mom all night long. This one is made from light and medium pink yarn and with cute little butterflies giving your little one some butterfly kisses. This one I double knitted to it is comfortably thick. Made from 75.2%Acrylic, 22.2% Acetate, 2.6% Nylon. Machine wash and dry. I recommended delicate wash with baby soap and lay flat to dry to keep shape.

I have not attached the butterflies yet so if you would like flowers or nothing at all I can do that. :) I have added pics to show my other work, if the butterflies are not desired for the winner, but only the Pink butterfly set is for auction.

THANKS! I'd love to make them for you, though have 2 ahead of you. I'm not sure how soon you need them but I do have another green and white one done that I haven't listed yet (0-upto 6 month, depending on baby and yarn used) that I can make look more girlish if needed. They take me a few good days to make depending on my schedule. Of course the ones I will be posting for other people you can also bid on of course. Both the ones I have up right now have a GIN on them for anyone wanting to snag them up. Give me some ideas of colors you are looking for and I can make sure I have that color yarn on hand to start after the 2 I'm doing now.

It's like a sleeping bag for your baby, safer than using a blanket because these the baby can't pull of their head. :) I just call them Peapods because that is what they remind me of when the baby is in it.

It looks to small to fit a 6-8lbs baby that is 18-20inchs for all my kids they came out one of those weights and one of those heights

This is not meant to go the whole length of the baby's body because then it would go over the head. It is meant to go just below the chin. As it is right now it measures 15.5" with the cuff unrolled about 17" As the baby grows it stretches in all directions. I think the pictures give is an illusion of being smaller. The lady that won the first one I auctioned off told me it was bigger than she thought it was going to be. :) If you would like I can make one to your exact measurements and put it up for auction.

Ok, that would be great. My son is 8lbs and 21" long & his head is 36cm. can u make it Baby blue & Dark Baby

Can you measure from his toes up to where you would like the the edge to land. 36cm is around his head I'm guessing but hard to say how many inches long it could be. At just guessing I'm thinking head and neck about 4-5 inches making the pod about 16"-17" I'm making a cream one right now another Listian requested to auction next so it will be a few days before I can start on this blue one. If I use this same type of yarn this one did take a bit longer than when I use the thicker yarn so when I'm ready I might have you remeasure because our sweet peas grow so fast :)

yes he is measuring at 17" from toes to neck area. yep 36cm is head size. no problem just let me know.

It is like a swaddler without the opening flaps. They are intended to swaddle an infant and give them that womb comfort of a small space plus keep them warm.
