Use it WET for a deeper, transfer-resistant, exotic tan, or to simply contour & accentuate cheekbones. Shimmery bronze pigments are marbelized into a matte powder to create a radiant sheen. I can actually see some shimmer in it..it's really pretty. So I guess it's a matte powder, with 'shimmery bronze pigments' in it. Hope this helps! :)

Hi...well, I don't see those exact words anywhere on this box, but it does say 'will not irritate sensitive skin'. Also, I don't know if you read the whole description, but it also says dermatologist approved and hypoallergenic. Hope that helps you out some! :)
